I just so happen to wake up @ 2:45am. saw my blinds light up over & over. So i open the shades & the sky would light up atleast 5 times a minute. I could not figure out what was happening since all i saw was the sky lighting up (no actual bolts except once)..untill i logged onto komo & saw it was a thunderstorm ;) very minimal quiet thunder. It was pretty amazing. lasted for a little over an hr.

I'm in Arlington & have been watching the sky light up for the past 40 min! You don't have to wait more than a min between strikes. It's amazing to see! Wish I could call everyone I know right now to wake up & see!!

Sad that theyre probably scared right now.

BTW: if my husband was charged with molesting young children in 2010...HE WOULD NO LONGER BE MY HUSBAND..nor would he ever get to see his kids again. Just sayin!

This is so heartbreaking!
Its so unfair when innocent lives are taken.
I live atleast 2 miles away from the scene. I was laying in bed last night & I heard sirens after sirens..then i heard fire truck sirens. I knew something horrible had happen. It wasnt raining either at the time so it made me wonder what had happened. Turns out someone was possibly under the infulence!!
Thoughts & prayers are with you & your family. So sorry you lost your dad :(
