The real story here is the gross overstep of making a mandate, not even with the help of the legislative branch, to ictate what private companies must do.b I don't care if it is an abortion or a hangnail. He has no jurisdiction here. We bounced the king out of our business over 200 years ago. This king needs to go. Soon.

Any engagement by the union, no matter what they name themselves, by simple logic is self interest. Why do they even have a voice. The hypocrisy of the union leader saying students need protection from the Charter school is ingorning the 1000lbs elephant in the room that the student needs protection from the union, which sadly there is none.

I don't get why they need this law. Not even if I am getting creative. why do the liberals ruin all the beautiful places. I love SF but could never live there due to the politics. I am not far off in MN, even here it is sometimes unbearable. If I think about it, my presidential vote for the past 27 years, I don't think has ever counted. Even when Mondale lost every state BUT MN.

All I can say is that these people have no awareness of their own arrogance. somewhere along the way, these people were told they were the brightest and could make choices for others due to their superior intellect and moral values. they must have been in a small room and were not aware of the vast intelligence that existed outside their limited view. If someone said this to me, I would say to them, who the hell do you think you are.

I lost twice on this one.

1) PP is the largest providers of abortions in the nation. Anything to slow the killing as a business is good.
2) We lost just a bit of our freedom here. People donate to komen based on the cause. komen uses the funds to support the cause. Endo of story, except when the left gets involved and bullies you to support one of their sacred cows - the option to kill your baby if it suits your lifestyle.

Plain old disgusting and diappointment.

Palin is right on with her comment. Also does congress have any idea what their regulatory measures do to the millions in the private sector?

I work for a financial services company and I can tell you the millions upon millions we spend to be compliant with some of the ludicrous legsilation they pass.

What they are asking is nothing that I don't do on a quarterly basis as a part of my employment.

This no doubt was probalby prompted by someone who thought they could gain from it. Otherwise what would the genesis of this statute be??

In Minnesota you pretty much have to hold your nose as far as its politicians are concerned.. Just think, Amy K, Mark Dayton, Walter Mondale, and who could forget the biggest laugher Al Franken.

Oh I forgot Betty McCollum and Keith Ellison.

I live in Burnsville, mn which is 20mi due south of Mpls and our mayor, in her infinite quest to leave a legacy, has promoted and had built a performing arts center in our "downtown", that is sapping our city of it resources. That thing, all shiny and new, only hosts free stuff and does not draw any performers. Even George Jones backed out.

Our lawmakers are out of control both locally and most certainly in Washington.

AS to this story, I have to ask, who made it their business to engage in this regulation? Vote them out now..

Its the bill stupid.. Not the other garbage you're talking about. America is not hiding from this vote unless the 60% of people who do not want this are:

The birthers, the fanatics, the people running around in right-wing militia and Aryan support groups,

I don't think so. I for one nor the 50 or so friends I know that are appalled at this BS do not fit into one of those groups.
