When you have an indefensible position you try to scream louder than and yell over any opposition. In the case of vocal abilities, "might" certainly does not make "right".

Now for the really bad news: We are being ruled (not governed) by the vocal 20 percent of the country that are the radical left. They are a minority! Most of this nation claims they are conservatives! Any one who does not vote should be branded for life.

As one poster put it: "Cuba is a communist cancer going into remission". I see Cuba as a communist cancer that has has found an eager and willing host in the Obama regime. Obama will lift the embargo when it is a politically correct time to try to keep him in office...it all depends on the number of democrat voters they are willing to give him.

I retired after 30 plus years of suppling equipment to the oil and gas industry. If there is one common attitude across the industry it is "Get the job done!" ...regardless of the problem (long before there was a Larry the cable guy). It is only to the advantage of BP to solve this problem as quickly as possible...and BP has done and they are doing just that..BUT... There have been major roadblocks: 1) Obama and his leftist advisors decided that it was to his political advantage to keep the spill going. He would not accept the offers of help and equipment from 13 countries who know how to handle oil spills. (He could not suspend the Jones act because it might offend the unions)...and 2) The EPA (an out-of-control bunch of radical enviro-nuts and ground-zero for people we used to call "communists") which has purposefully delayed, denied or obstructed the approval on every BP effort (lets make sure the skimmer boats have enough life vests).

I have first-hand, insider information about these big, evil oil companies: These big, evil oil companies have been historically willing pay higher taxes than they fairly owe in the areas they operate just to support the schools and communities because... they feel an obligation to both their employees, their children and to the local communities at large. They have done more truly good things than any government program will ever come close to doing. Let's get the boot off of "big" oil's neck.

1) This story is from AP...and you can not believe anything AP says. 2) The drama queen that wrote the story, following the AP template, did not give any real factual information....like just how big, long was the actual oil that hit the beach. Was it two tar balls?...was it the ten foot long oil blob I have seen? 3) And, of course, the story ends with wild projections of oil covering the beaches from Maine to Washington state and the end of life as we know it...which I am sure is the consensus of the majority (of three) "scientists" ...(that would be one dentist, one Harvard business major and one guy with a pipe and horn rim glasses who looked like he was a professor).

There is a big political reason the liberals do not want to vote on a budget before the November elections...They are trying to hide who they really are and what they really plan...the new budget will be a disaster for every US taxpayer...Tax and Spend is all they know how to do. It is a proven tactic...until they run out of other peoples money to give away....and they have already spent all the income of your grandchildren...Now they going for the income of your great-grandchildren?

You have to give Obama and the regime credit for one thing...He is, indeed, the "great uniter". He has united the people of this country against his radical ideas and inoculated them against his empty promises. Can you say "toro caca"?
