So if all these glorious new penalties for success go through we can count on $38 billion in new gas and oil price increases. We can count on less discretionary spending by those earning over $200,000 and $250,000 most of which goes to such things as dining out, vacations, better autos and more clothing. So shop keepers, wait staff, auto sales forces and all hotels and modes of transportation can count on smaller earnings.

I could go on but only idiotic socialists can think that by taking money out of the economy it is a good thing. And now that all of the new taxes have been announced, all of the people with tax attorneys are, as we speak, looking for ways around the burden. There is no law written that a smart individual can not find sufficient loop holes to make them work to their benefit. Therefore count on about one half of the projected revenue to show up but 150% of the spending to take place.

This happens all over the place. We lost a bid to operate the Thousand Island Resort many years ago because of a literal last minute (morning of the deadline date) offer from arelative of a NY state representative. The guy had zero experience in operating such a property and promptly proved it by turning a fine resort into a pig sty.
