You don't need this plugin to fix the bug as that has now been addressed in Joomla 2.5.4, however 2.5.4 does not fix the duplicate entries you may already have. The plugin will remove those and not 'patch' the file as that is not needed.

Just set the the plugin parameter to OFF, or you could deactivate the plugin. Either way.

Your not going to have any problems if you leave it ON either, it's just going to be checking for duplicate entries every page load, which is an extra couple of queries that are going to be useless because it's already fixed.

Alain, make sure you leave that setting in the OFF position. There's really no need to have it on after things are 'fixed'. Cheers.

RokSprocket is a 2.5 only extension, so as soon as Flexi has a stable version for 2.5, we'll certainly look to add it.

RokSprocket will not replace or existing extensions in previous templates. Those have been specifically designed for the layout and configuration options of those other extensions. So we will still maintain those extensions even though future templates will rely on RokSprocket.

A new RokDownloads is definitely on the cards for this year :)

We don't currently have thumbnailing built-in to RokSprocket, but you can configure each article independently to point to it's own image for a thumb. If you use RokGallery, then use, you can configure an album to automatically resize your images automatically for you.

Regarding overall module size, we've gone to great lengths to ensure you don't HAVE to set a size for the module at all. Every layout will adjust to the space available. This is a critical feature needed for responsive web design that is going to become defacto in the future.
