Was doing some internet stuff... and came across this. It reminds me of this administrations game plan.
I heard Obama say the other day that we are just getting TOO MUCH information...and it's causing problems.
I listened to a Herman Cain video (He's the man I want for president!!...check him out... AWESOME) ... anyway...
HE says... STAY INFORMED...we must keep information flowing to each other, and we must make sure we understand the facts, and BE INFORMED... in other words... there's never ENOUGH information for us. ... and then I read the following.... and it just "hit me" ... I could be wrong... maybe.

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."

They don't think past "feelings". Everything is based on how they "feel". Therefore, they are manipulated easily. Have you ever noticed how liberals always have a sad sad story to tell about some unfortunate person when they want to push people toward their view? They go for the emotions. They want decisions made according to "feelings" - instead of facts that might help one understand their choices.

A wise conservative once said, (Dr. Joyce) -- Once the choices are made clear to the people, then we will always choose self-evident truth and civic virtue over the bribes of the progressive elites, no matter how generous the social services or seductive the self-liberation. The only time we seem to choose otherwise is when the choices are not made clear to us - when among the many selves created by a progressive presidential candidate is a self, created just in time for the election, who appears to stand precisely for these traditional American principles.

I believe he rightly describes Obama. People who voted for him REALLY don't want to be wrong about this guy, (how could they handle those feelings?)
He knows he doesn't have to tell them the truth - just make them "feel" good, "feel" right.
He knows as long as he creates a "self" who "looks like" he stands for traditional American principles, he'll continue to appeal to the emotions of those who are not clear on the facts, therefore unclear about their choices.
It's why he used a motherless young boy as a prop when he signed the HC bill. That little boy visually represented Obama's "goodness", compassion and his justification for everything he's done. (so it's okay that the process was ugly)
How could we possibly be against such a man? Do we have no feelings?

Yes, we do, but many of us want our choices made clear. It's a must, or we are in danger of believing in the progressive bribes and seductive manipulations. For some, facts are not "a must"... as long as they feel good.

Well, probably a little further than that but we're close! I go down 277th to get in to Auburn.
You're Navy? ... My dad was Navy. He retired a CPO. He passed away this past September .
Part of his service was full military honors at Tahoma National. What an amazing and wonderful tribute that ceremony is. The whistle, the salute. the reading of "Old Glory", a poem (as I am sure you know) where our Flag speaks to us. I never knew that existed before. And, when they presented the flag to my mother,... it took my breath away. Thank you for your service. All of our Service men make me extremely proud to be an American.
