Well you _can_..... but he won't. The Rivers of War series was not picked up by Del Rey. Toni has picked it up for Baen, but she has directed that the next novel in that series has to FOLLOW Crown of Slaves 2, the next solo Eric Flint 1632 novel, and probably Course of Empire 2. RIvers site is being re-directed to here.

The old site with the Rivers snippets will _not_ be re-activated.

The next book will be out from BAEN not from Del Rey, and it will be _at least_ two years from now.

Why? Well, among other things, it would be nice if he could arrange a re-release of the first two, but DR still has the rights...

So, I'm afraid waiting is in order.

nope, that entry is for the MASS MARKET PAPERBACK. -- the hard cover came out a year ago. and ROF III is not that far away. but I try to list paper and hc separately in this page. Rick

Uh, RoW 3 is after Crown of Slaves 2, which is probably after the next solo Eric Flint Ring of Fire novel, which is after ... Uh, Eric's back-logged a couple of years. Sorry. But that's reality for a busy, successful author with more-than-one series running. RoW kind of fell to the side when DelRey didn't pick up book 3....

Kent, that's a great idea, and it's built into wordpress. If you want a feed for JUST the "information" catagory, go to http://www.ericflint.net/?feed=rss2&cat=2 and you'll get a feed for just "information" Try different numbers for different catagories... Rick
