because the moderator is a human being with a job and a life and health issues... Once you have an approved posting, your posts go through without delay. Until then, until you've been ok'ed ONCE you are stuck in moderation, and I had a couple of days where I could not get to it. It's not my full time job. I'm Eric's lackey, but not a full-time-lackey. Sorry. They've been posted now.

Eric Flint's place on the web : Forthcoming

Well you _can_..... but he won't. The Rivers of War series was not picked up by Del Rey. Toni has picked it up for Baen, but she has directed that the next novel in that series has to FOLLOW Crown of Slaves 2, the next solo Eric Flint 1632 novel, and probably Course of Empire 2. In other words, don't hold your breath. -- Sorry. Rick

well, of course, you don't have to, you can comment without logging in, it's just that logging in gives you more new spiffy features.

Rick

On Mon, Dec 29, 2008 at 7:12 AM, Rick Boatright <rboatright@gmail.com> wrote:
approve

RIvers site is being re-directed to here.

The old site with the Rivers snippets will _not_ be re-activated.

The next book will be out from BAEN not from Del Rey, and it will be _at least_ two years from now.

Why? Well, among other things, it would be nice if he could arrange a re-release of the first two, but DR still has the rights...

So, I'm afraid waiting is in order.

Rick

it doesn't. He just commented on the most-recent post. It would have been more appropriate on Bibliography or some such, but I lack tools to move it. Rick

Don't worry, the war of anti-semitism is going to be detailed. The very next book will be an action-packed eric-flint solo novel.

Rick Boatright

Uh, RoW 3 is after Crown of Slaves 2, which is probably after the next solo Eric Flint Ring of Fire novel, which is after ... Uh, Eric's back-logged a couple of years. Sorry. But that's reality for a busy, successful author with more-than-one series running. RoW kind of fell to the side when DelRey didn't pick up book 3....

Kent, that's a great idea, and it's built into wordpress. If you want a feed for JUST the "information" catagory, go to http://www.ericflint.net/?feed=rss2&cat=2 and you'll get a feed for just "information" Try different numbers for different catagories...
