Lots of references to diamonds - lots of diamonds in the Hamptons.....Long Island east of the last dream house, definitely cold in the winter, definitely by the water (not too far) the kitchen picture was sand and water (beach) Long Island used to be a farm community. Lots of bee-keepers there too. The cow is a Jersey cow - right next door is New Jersey...
I'd say it's Somewhere in Long Island New York.
