Hi airbrakes. Yes, the branding is certainly something I've
considered. In all honesty, I believe it's the .co.uk domain that is
causing the most \"issues\". It's okay if you're something like the BBC,
but there seems to be a general consensus that .co.uk or other country
specific domains are related specifically to that country, whilst
.com's are considered more global. Allas, flightsimx.com has already
been taken, but the domain I'm looking at I think would also assert
the fact that it's primarily a news site.

That's true, although I do get a number of emails along the lines of
\"Nice site, shame it concentrates on FSX\". There's also the .co.uk
issue - tends to imply UK only, even though we're aimed at a worldwide
audience.

I don't know the author personally, but I suspect it's a branding thing, i.e. people probably know him by that name. If it appeared under another brand, people may be more reluctant to try it.

I assume he's aware of the issue, hence the new domain.

I believe the author initially released freeware, but has now moved to
payware, but a lot of his work is on an \"old\" domain wih the original
name. I see the new release is actually on a new domain -
scenery4xp.com

Apart from the \"Event assignments\" section, I'd have thought it would

After some use, I'm starting to think you're right. Most importantly, there's a significant problem with the image meta-data, i.e. you can't add any!

I've actually gone back to the Wordpress editor for now which is, as you say, pretty impressive.

Not great, is it?! Comes with the territory, though. You know (or should) what you're getting yourself into when you sign up.

The latest news is a) I've got my MacBook Pro back - hoorah! Apple covered it under warranty even thought it's past the 1 year, so I'm very pleased :) and b) Apple have asked me to resubmit the binary for my 2nd app, so I assume they're giving it another look!

In fairness, GetClicky do offer a free service, but Spy is not part of
