Again the politicians are trying to shift the focus away from the real problem. Government policies that encourage manufacturing to be shifted overseas. We need to manufacture things in the US, not everyone can be in service industries. Manufacturing creates new value. If the politicians really wanted to increase revenue they would provide incentives(lower tax rate, faster equipment deductions) to/for companies that manufacture here.

It should be interesting to see how the UAW does ruining opps I mean running the auto companies they have been looting for years.
