I emailed my senator (Tom Udal D-NM) 3 times now. Each time I let him know my feelings on the out of control spending and other issues. each time, i get a form letter back on how "we inherited this stuff from Bush and we are going to get national health care, grow jobs, end pollution and cut taxes for "middle class" while punishing the evil rich folks" (not a direct quote, but you get the gist. I would rather that his aids would simply send me a "%&*$% you we won form letter than the condescending crap I am getting. My frustration level has capped, there is no more blood available to "shoot out of my eyes". GOD Bless our military and pray for our nation's "FINEST" in harms way who are being betrayed by an administration that has NO CLUE. GOD BLESS AMERICA and we will OVERCOME this.... 2012 is coming -----------
My heart is breaking today. What makes this man so powerful he can control the news, the congress, the supreme court.......... How can someone destroy our country so fast and so blatantly lie to "We the people " and get away with it. How can he justify his "Date night and vacations" when he is bankrupting the country. Where is the outrage? I truly fear that we are headed for a revolution. Most of us are proud of our country and our way of life, how can one person trash it in less than 6 months?

Waterboarding is not torture, we use it on our own service members in survival training. Torture is physical damage, waterboarding is a few minutes of being uncomfortable. And the people being interrogated are not signers of the geneva conventions. They are the ones who use women and children as human shields and unwitting bombs, they are the ones who beheaded people. Get a grip. I am so tired of people tearing down my country. I bet you didn't serve. I did, my family does. I am a second generation American and both my parents served in WWII and korea, other family and myself in Vietnam and the gulf.
I used to be pro - choice. I felt that I had no right to tell another woman what to do with her body. I forgot about the baby. an unborn child has no voice. It seems that abortion today is "the morning after" solution. If a woman (or girl) is not ready to be a mother, she is not ready to have sex!!!!! I thought abortion was only legal in the first trimester, now I hear of doctors "aborting" totally viable babies and letting them die of exposure because "They are abortions, not babies"> And the same people screaming about waterboarding as torture are condoning this torture of babies. Nancy Pelosi claims to be Catholic, she should be excommunicated immediately. Since hearing of the late term abortion practice, I have become totally pro LIFE> Abortion is MURDER and must be abolished.
the reason healthcare costs are so outrageous right now is the lawsuits for everything. Doctors pay so much for malpractice insurance, some cannot afford to practice at all. If you want to regulate something, regulate the malpractice suits. Let the medical boards handle incompetant doctors and the rest will be able to provide quality care at a reasonable price. Also, get rid of the Illegals. They are draining the system.

This is BULL@#$@. President Bush and his administration did what they believed right to protect our country. If you don't agree with the tactics, change them; but don't "Monday Morning Quarterback" the events and methods. NOT only did Mr. Obama damage the security of our nation by releasing classified information (He should be tried for treason), he was a senator while this was going on, they approved the activities, HOever, PRESBO was too busy campaigning to do his job. NOw he is too busy tearing our country apart to be a good president.
Her attitude is exactly why I joined this forum. I wrote my senators and representatives when Bush proposed the bailouts. Nary a response. It isn't about taxes, it's about our "government" not listening to the people. ONe of my co-workers asked me if I knew what the "tea party" was about. It was a joy to tell her, now she is looking at all the channels to find out for herself. I believe we have a new convert. That is the best thing to come from these events, people get curious when they see their neighbors gathering in peaceful demonstrations, WE CAN do it!!!!!!!!!!!!
