My husband and I were speaking of this the other day. You have it right about the early feminists. The feminazis of today are just men-hating women who want the sons of today to be feminized. Francis could use some schooling. I AM libertarian. I use a lower case "L" because I live as a libertarian, not just voting as one or using the moniker to jump on a bandwagon to make myself seem something I'm not. I wish she would've said those things to me. First of all I chose procreating over a career and then I stayed home and became dependent on my husband, the breadwinner, so I could raise my children myself instead of putting them in a daycare all day and becoming something more than a womb. I am in no way demeaning those women who choose a career AND motherhood. It's called a choice and we all make them. I would never force my lifestyle on someone else. Francis needs to understand that these choices are PERSONAL choices made with life experiences in mind that do not include HER.
Saw it last night and was very pleased. They did a really great job. Much better than what Hollywood did with the Fountainhead. And Taylor Shilling NAILED the part of Dagny. There was applause and cheering at the end. I will be impatiently awaiting part 2.
Apparently Jim Geraghty is unfamiliar with the fact that billion dollar movie studios get these same tax breaks all the time, which is beyond me because it is pork. I know this because I live in NC and Wilmington is the east coast Little Hollywood. What he really has a problem with is that it's PALIN.
