Angie..after reading yours and other peoples stories it makes me so happy that I was brought up free of religion, free to find my own way in what religions were and the harm they cause, free to question, free to learn, free to question and free to grow up healthy and have the knowledge to question everything, learn for myself and generally not be influenced by others' beliefs.

As for abuse..I never suffered sexual abuse, but did suffer from emotional, physical and mental abuse...not the same but still damaging..but being free of religion I managed to find my own way and through therapy to deal with those issues..

You're an amazing woman to have dealt with what you suffered at such a young age.... I for one will buy a copy of your book when it is published.

Wow ..just wow... I'm so jealous your hate mail is so much more nasty than mine....I must work harder !!

One thing i have notices..the more right wing or religious some nut is...the worse their spelling...mm..religion and bad education (indoctrination is not big on study I suppose) seem to go hand in hand.
