I have lived and worked in the Middle East and North Africa (along with Europe and Vietnam). There are dangers everywhere. I was more cautious every time that I worked in New York City than when I worked elsewhere. Zeno is correct that those who travel to other countries should be cautious. They should attempt first to visit other countries with a guide or with a friend from the country. They should not assume that they are American ambassadors who must behave in ways pleasing to everyone. They should try not be be ugly Americans who behave badly in other countries.

As a professor who has taught as an adjunct professor at UCI, I was shocked to hear a man telling the students that he would fail them on their examinations for protesting this event. No reputable university would permit faculty members to do this. Grades must be based upon the quality of the examinations. David Horowitz has written about his college days many professors did not behave this way. At the University of Michigan, I received a high grade in a Philosophy of Communism course even though I wrote my examinations with answers critical of Karl Marx and supportive of capitalism. If I were a student today, I would be writing essays critical of Moses Hess, the "Communist Rabbi" who helped Karl Marx write drafts of The Communist Manifesto and who wrote a book in 1862 advocating the Zionist takeover of Palestine. I would be joining students in protesting against Israel's war crimes. Today, students should be studying important books, such as:

As a Vietnam veteran, I admit proudly that I am anti-Tancredo. Tancredo avoided military service in Vietnam using a mental excuse. While a member of Congress, Tancredo was one of the strongest supporters of the Iranian Communist MEK (MKO, PMOI, NCRI, Rajavi Cult, or Pol Pot of Iran) terrorists. As for Israel, simply read the 1862 book by Rabbi Moses Hess (early Communist and Zionist) for his plan for stealing Palestine from the Palestinians. The early communists of the era of Karl Marx referred to Hess as the Communist Rabbi. Communists and Zionists are totalitarians.
