I think that both Rafa and Jo-Willie are quite adorable. As to Rafa's "kit" I like the green shirt, he looks good in this color; don't care for the road-map shorts, but the whole package is still adorable on him. Rafa looks great no matter - now for him I look forward to him getting back into prime form and building his confidence again in winning situations.
I have changed my opinion of Fernando recently. He is a good looking guy and he seemed self centered based on things I read about him. But I've seen some interviews from recent tournaments and he also seems to be humble and family oriented. So I have softened my opinion of him. He has improved his tennis skills with the help of the Addidas training group in LasVegas.
Seems strange to have a glass table in a locker room - and never a good idea to sit on a glass table. Very unstable at best, and clearly fragile and dangerous. Hope he heals quickly.
I think Roger and Rafa primarily have brought a more mature attitude to the game of tennis. And, tennis is a game played by talented, strong men and women, to a conclusion. They are competitive and want to win. Mental strength is necessary as is physical strength. However once the competition is completed, and the game is over, mature people have the ability to say 'good contest' win or lose. I never cared for the 'spoiled brats' of the 80s. Perhaps then it was drew people to see them play, what will they do next? I, for one, prefer the talented men, like Roger and Rafa, and also appreciate their maturity in knowing who they are and not needing to try to intimidate others on or off the court. They respect one another - good game. To me Rafa personifies the split - one court strong competitor; off court all round nice guy, knowing it is his 'hobby', how lucky he is, and knows how it fits into his life.
All rumors and such, but 3 bedrooms for 2 people - a little excessive. Fishing with buds makes more sense. The cost - exaggerated? Expensive fishing trip.
Rafa is so yummy in this video; he is quite sexy and has the sweetest smile.
I think Roger is using common sense. After Oz, he may need recovery time. So he can commit when he knows more about his condition. Makes sense to me. It doesn't make sense to overcommit and then have to back out. I know that is done often, but Roger has managed his schedule to his needs in last few years, I guess. Rafa, IMO, needs to do more along these lines with his scheduling.
Spain is so strong. Hope Rafa and Nando are well enough to play in December.
Seems the top guys have some ailments to heal.
I've read that Roger likes to sing in the locker-room. So now we see another side of him. Cute.
