So Scott Parker wins hands down?____To answer my own queston YES!!! ____But for what? He was the stand player out over a very poor season! The only person i can say that held a light to him over the season, and i think that very much needs to be taken into consideration, is Faubert! ____Like many players this season he has not played in his natural position, but for a winger who has plied his trade in France to become a RB in the Prem, deserves a mention!____IMHO, over deserved mentions fpr individual players are

I hold nothing against LBM, and he has shown the right attitude while at the club-many parts of it in which he hasnt been fit enough to play and I presume i am right, in that his contract is up come the end of the season?

I have a few reasons for letting Boa go. He HAS shown the right attitude when he has paid, but he was brought in on an inflated salary. He was also bought for far much money, and when his star was already fading.

He has had several major injuries in the last 5 years, a player of his age, just cant get over that kind of punishment anymore.

Finally, i would like half of his salary (working that he is on £60k) to be given to player like Collison, Junior and Hines. If they were offered £8-10k more a week on top of what they are earning and a contract that stretched for a further 2-3 years, so they start next year on 5 year contracts. i know contracts mean nothing now days, but lets make them Lad's feel like they are the future, and key stones on which to build our future!

Zola has to play 4-4-2 today, i know we are away, but as was previously mentioned on the last post, the season starts here!

Cole & Benni up top, give Burnley something to think about.

I'd have your team there Iain, with Mido and Junior to come on with 25 mins to go to refresh the team, and maybe Kovac too once Noble has run his heart out. I really think he could really thrive in the defensive position, allowing Scotty to make runs into the box. Our midfield needs to chip in with some goals to propel us up the league.

i'd take a 2-0, clean sheet, and get back home...

Cahillcc, i think someone has done the figures, and thats why G&S won (is that the right word) and are now the contolling party of our club!

I can't imagine we would get alot for UP, well be selling after 2012 and the market for housing/flats in the surrounding area's will be saturated. Its getting to that point already! However UP is our only tangible security to the Banks. What would happen if the arse fell out of football, the sky deals would soon dry up, UP is a brown site that could be sold if it got that bad!

I also believe that the current stadium doesn't contribute that much in the way of revenue. TV and player sales i think have been the biggest earner's in recent time, and a move away is the only other way of bringing in new sustainable revenue streams.

I think the writing is on the wall! Like i said when G&S came in, nothing we can do about it, we just got to get behind the team and do our bit from the stands, wherever they may be located in the future!!!

Also, did he pay full whack for that top, or did he pick it up for a tenner?

Nice interview, and more straight talk with is good to hear. However, i don't want to hear anything else from G&S until the end of the season. Lets pack the Circus away until June, once we have secured our prem status. Let everyone get behind the team, and support Zola, Clarke and the Squad.

Once they have done there bit, G&S come out and take our plaudits!

Oh, and sign Huntelaar after the World Cup!

Getting back on point, Nouble has the potential to be a great player, has pace, ability, and i would say finishing! What he is, is very young, what he has done infront of goal for the last 3 games, is put his laces through the ball, which is fine in Under age football, but not against quality of the keepers!

Nouble has gone from youth/Reserve football to Prem in 6 months!

Basically Nouble is for the future, nobody who had any decision in signing a young, qualtiy striker, from a prem rival, in the summer expected him to be our spearhead for premiership survival! We need a striker or two. Can you imagine what it would be like, to have to face CC plus A.N.Other 1 for 70-75 minutes, YES WE SHOULD HAVE TWO UP FRONT, and then be able to bring on Nouble, to run at them for the last 15 odd minutes?

Now there is where the boy can make his name!!!

Bray, i agree with everything you say, EXCEPT point B! Nouble, is playing well for an 18/19 year old who has been thrown in at the deep end! The Young Man( and i say that through respect to him) shouldnt have to shoulder the burden of scoring goals for a team in trouble( cos thats what we are)

I'd like Eidur at the club, he will fill the Attacking Midfielder/Second Stricker role! And that allow's us to Thank Jimi for his time, and wish him a fond farewell. He done nothing wrong, but done nothing to keep him here either!

Last two points, A) Young above Hutton, nothing to do with Hutton being Spurs, but Youngs prem past/fighting qualities (he played for Curbs @ Charlton)

And B) Come the Duke for a bev!

Jiminez is a good player, you dont become a bad player over night, however, the prem is still the fastest/end-to-end football in the world, and i dont think he has enough presence about to perform in the Prem. Diamanti is a better option in that attacking midfield/floating role. Wilshere would be a nice addition, however Wenger will only let him leave for first team football, and we cant promise him with that in our current position!

Even tho we have plenty of midfielders, if we could get our hands on some quality i.e. Dempsey, why not, BUT this isnt a priority and a RB is!

Also, if 'Arry is going for Eidur, can we nick the Pavlyuchenko as like Fishy mentioned, he will only play three of the strickers in his squad? And while Dave is on the phone to Arry, ask about Hutton and Bentley!!!

I've said it a few times, but i still would like Beattie! I know it goes against 'project football' but i'd play basic/effective for the rest of the season if it kept us where we need to be! And then after the WC, see what we can do to help the squad.

Huntelaar would be great for 'Project Football' maybe the final peice in a, yet to be proved or to be realised puzzle. Benni short term could do a job, but we need either Prem experienced, or top quality, ala Huntelaar!

To be honest, I think we'll end up with no onet, £100k offers are great! We could offer Messi £500k a week, but he aint going to join us, empty promises with no end product! Get a right back, our goals for in the botttom half isn't that bad! And we have had a bad run!

CC to get back, Franco to get back, Beattie in, and if were going to be silly, offer wages/cash money, go Beckford (yes he has retracted his transfer request) he could do a job and in the future, where ever that may be!
