We're ALL getting ripped off! Sadly the City of Sacramento's Measure U sales tax was a fraud to begin with. Originally pimped to help restore 167 positions cut from the Sacramento Police Department in 2011, the screed and greed took over. Using the excuse the measure might not pass by a 2/3 vote (in spite of surveys and public opinion favoring such a move) the City Manager told Council to make it a General Fund Tax. RESULT? Lion's share of the tax revenue coming later this year will go for six swimming pools and five wading pools, rainy day fund and some relief for browned out fire stations. Of the $5 million, $1.5 million will go to fund the first class of police cadets at Sacramento’s police academy since 2008. None will hit the streets this year. At the midyear budget hearing, the city claims to have found $9.35 million in savings. Did the police see one dime of it? NO!

Oh please... I'm no fan of POTUS or CA-AG but PC Policing is out of control in our country. Besides, I suggested a year ago President Obama would likely tap Harris as AG when he throws Holder under the bus over Fast&Furious or any number of other questionable AG calls that have backfired.

When will local media start asking "How much General Fund money has been stolen from Sacramento taxpayers since 2003 to promote the Kings and an arena?"

Voters said no to Measures Q and R! What is it about NO they don't get? Guess what? In spite of big money poured into PR campaigns, "We the People" continue to say no public funding for the Kings or the arena! Proof? CBS-13 recently asked viewers: "Are you willing to pay more money to keep the Kings in Sacramento?" Over 100 viewers said NO! So what happens if you're NOT in the tank for the Kings and Arena Deal? http://www.patriotwatch.com/1stamendment.htm

This was one amazing exercise of outstanding professionalism by Sacramento Police SWAT, Watch Commanders and Patrol supervisors in a potentially deadly standoff. Clearly lessons from the 1991 Good Guys incident were taken in to account; See http://youtu.be/XgXnDrdov9w It is sad that the City of Sacramento has treated our officers so poorly being some of the lowest paid in the region and suffering from severe staffing shortages. God bless them all. Data is available on http://crimeinsacramento.com for those who wish to support Sacramento's finest!

Sacramento Police and RT officers have their hands full with major street closures and securing a huge fatal incident scene. Police staffing shortages mean many pending calls for service city-wide will result in a delayed response. Sacramento has the hardest working professionals, yet they are among the lowest paid sworn officers in the region.

Meanwhile, their police chief and City Council spent the evening session tonight bidding their peers Sandy Sheedy and RK Fong farewell. Our Crimewatch partners hope future council members will end the years of cuts to our rank and file police officers. I respect many of the good things that both Sheedy and Fong did for their districts while holding them responsible for their votes when it comes to public and police officer safety in California's capital city. It is NOT something to take pride in.

True Liberty666 unless you are a "protected class" charity sucking off the taxpayer teat. Make no mistake: the "homeless" are an industry. Look how many jobs it creates in government social services. Get rid of the homeless with the billions spent providing them services?

I'd like to offer an example of a "protected" homeless charity who passed out $1,250.00 in 9 days to a heroin addict "in their care" SOURCE: http://crimewatch.us/stu.htm

This Trust Account Statement raises serious questions of the conduct of an approved "Payee" for federal or local funding intended to provide for basic needs of recipients. A member of Sacramento's Homeless Board indicates a Private Party Payee would be held to a much more rigid standard and subject to greater scrutiny.
If a person with arrest warrants and an obvious IV heroin addiction can withdraw this amount of money in such a short period of time, it's not hard to believe there are others who may be fugitives or parolees at large.

Khrushchev said. "Your children will live under communism."

"You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept Communism outright; but we'll keep feeding you small doses of Socialism until you will finally wake up and find that you already have Communism. We won't have to fight you; we'll so weaken your economy, until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands."

On August 24, 1963, speaking in Yugoslavia, Khrushchev quipped, "I once said, 'We will bury you,' and I got into trouble with it. Of course we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you," This message is a reference to the Marxist saying, "The proletariat is the undertaker of capitalism", based on the concluding statement in Chapter 1 of the Communist M manifesto.

Grassroots nonprofits are failing all over this nation. They are often barred from public schools while deep pocket liberal and far left tax-exempt foundations and corporations have greater access to our children. Have we come to the point in time where are children are living under communism? It's a valid question worthy of deeper discussion.

I apologize for goofing up my rather long post. This is an issue near and dear to my old heart. Deep pockets have been indoctrinating our children for three generations and IT MUST BE STOPPED. At times I wonder why we are attacked like my pal, parent and US Army patriot 1SGT CJ Grisham. I can only pray someone like Breitbart can take up the challenge faced by this family: Thug-ocracy At Its Finest (in public school) http://www.soldiersperspective.us/2009/10/27/thug...
