I agree that possibility #2 may be the most likely, though in spite of my naturally suspicious view of government action, I\'d like to believe that our collective wellbeing is at least a partial motivator.

I hadn\'t considered the possibility you suggest, but I agree that population/cultural control is a huge motivator for the more oppressive nations of the world.

You will notice that I haven\'t included Twilight in this critique of bad vampire movies, this is not because I think Twilight is a good movie or series. It\'s simply because I\'m not certain the Twilight series does in fact deal with vampires. \"Hey, who\'s that guy...and why is he shimmering?\"
