If I remember correctly, a young African American won the smart home last year or the year before.
They are given the non-disclosure forms the first day most likely and have to return them within five days.
If they do not address the leak then I will no longer enter HGTV homegiveaways, watch HGTV or buy their products. If they do not address the leak it looks like they are saying that if you have a good story then non-disclosure do not matter.
I believe the drawing was fair but have an issue with the fact that HGTV is not addressing the issue with the leak. I do congratulate the winner but in my honest opinion if he did not have such a good story then he would have been disqualified for posting on facebook. Because HGTV has not address the issue of the leak, it looks bad on them because they are ignoring the issue. Also they could have just come out last week and confirm that was the potential winner.
They posted the announcement but have not yet addressed the issue with the leak
They also have a different picture than the church one and if Scripps is the source why doesn't HGTV announce on website
The church member comment is the one I am talking about
The reason why I keep checking it is because HGTV is going to be making an announcement this week. I was looking on facebook to see if anything new had been posted and when I looked for the original comment I could no longer find it, so they have either hidden it from public or removed the post.
That is what is so confusing because if they really did the drawing on the 17th, that's not a lot of time to set up a ambush. Also the winner was suppose to be drawn the first of March not last week. Why would they wait until just last week to draw the winner. Also something that I just noticed was that the guy Mark Smiles does not even live in the same state as David Rennie and at first I did not really pay that much attention and thought that the guy got the information from the church member. I honestly do not know if he is the winner or not
