properties are being bought out at the pre-flood value plus 7%. so if a business wants bought out, they'd have to sign up, just like i did. personal houses, rental houses are being bought as well, at the pre-flood value plus 7%. my property was flooded, im in the buyout, so im speaking from experience.

As a graduate of VS Schools and as a former resident of Vinton, I was appalled thay they built that new school with taxpayer money (I know my taxes went up) and for what?? The teachers are still the same (mostly worthless). Why cut programs? Why spend all of that money on a new building? The building is not what fosters learning, it's the teachers, the programs.

Agreed! I have never understood his support for her through this. He lost his son, for crying out loud! And he's supporting/standing by the person who did that to him. I've yet to wrap my brain around this...
