Would you know of any other app other than BlackRa1n that will allow me to jailbreak an Ipod Touch 3g (64GB).
The problem that I seem to be having is that one always has to perform a tethered jailbreak in the evet that the battery of an Ipod 3G runs down or if you power off the device.

Get the file com.apple.carrier.plist found at /var/root/Library/Preferences/ and edit the key ShowCallForwarding to be <false/>.

I am guessing that within the next couple of weeks (fingers crossed) the DevTeam will release the JB Software for 3.1. At the moment, I dont think there is much you can do (in terms of getting JailBreak to work) considering that your Baseband has been upgraded.
Again, I suggest that you try downgrading to OS 3.0. Good luck
