I must agree that Unfuddle is quite impressive. It offers a lot of options and functions for free.
Although, I still prefer GitHub because it's cheaper. I believe the expensive ones you're talking about are the "Giga" and "Mega" packages but I don't really need that much space. You'll also have to concur that the GitHub community is very vast and you'll find some great programmers in there which are willing to help you ( at least most of them ).

But have you tried install it using this guide? It will probably very similar, just replace 8.3 with 8.4.
You can just wait for the post but I don't know when I'll make it.

But yeah, I'll definently take a look at it. It seems very nice ( and it hope it doesn't just "seem", right? )
The best website for SVN hosting that I've found untill now is BeanStalk, unfortunaly, their Free package isn't that good because it only provides one repository.
The fact that you support these 2 version control systems is also a great feature!

Anyway, the SVN plugin ( as well as the CVS one ) are very good and very complete. They're also fantasticly integrated inside of the very core of Eclipse, which makes them even better.
The GIT plugin has all the basic features ( probably the ones that you'll need right now ) but it's still in development. It's very tightly integrated but it need a few more lines of code to become has great as it's friends.
Give it a try, the installation is quite simples has you see in my post.

And I'm using the Python version that comes already installed. The newest version ( I think ) it already comes with MySQLdb pre-installed.
