This is a perfect example of why "our government" needs to change! This country is so far from it's roots that the expression " land of the free" no longer applies. We have the highest number of incarcerated citzens of any country in the world. Why is this? Because "we the people" do not take the time to look at the people we elect to run the country. These people all have their own agendas and they write the laws to suit themselves, and justify their position, so they will get re-elected. So we go on our merry way thinking about all the things we need do to better our lives and forget about our obligation to do the oversight on the very persons who effect our lives and freedoms the most. Stop and THINK about what your doing when you exercise your freedom to vote next election; or you may wake up one morning and that freedom may no longer exist.
