Michael Moore does not differ much from most other class warfare generals, welfare pimps like Jackson and Obama, leadership democrats like Reid and Pelosi, and all their crony capitalists like Immelt, Akerson and the entire green industry. They are all in the 1%, and and of course, graciously helping us, the 99% by making sure we never have the opportunities they have.
Whenever someone offers you a deal that's too good to be true, take notice. Be mad at the democrat politicians. They are the ones who made all the false promises, and you enabled them. Federal and state workers since unionized have been signing "too good to be true deals". All the democrats and union bosses wanted were the flow of union dues to their campaigns and of course, your vote. Don't be mad at us and shout SHAME when we appear at the capitol steps protesting ever increasing taxes. Put your anger where it belongs!
One surefire way to get the US economy going again is to grant full permissions to develop national oil reserves, build refineries and nuclear plants. We'll see if the new congress has what it takes to take these issues to the public.
24% interest rates and the economy at a standstill. Tough to run against that one Billy! I always disagreed on the Panama Treaty. Control of the Panama Canal is part of US national security. We saw it with Carter and Clinton, and we see it again with Obama. Weak, foreign policy ignorant of history. There has always been superpowers. Even my ancestors, the vikings had superpower status in Europe 1,000 years ago. As history goes, America has been the kindest strongman in history, and as I see it, we should keep it that way without apologies. We have not raped and pillaged, and we have not invaded a single country for the purpose of expansion. I know some of you think economic activity qualifies as rape and pillage, but sorry you are wrong. I don't think I'll bother to read Carter's book. At this point he can be pleased to rate the second worst US president in recent times after Obama. History will repeat again this fall, and I think the Tea Parties are here to stay. They may get a different name like GOP, but Americans are awake and we will no longer let our politicians continue their corrupt ways.
It seems a lot of people like Sarah. She has executive experience. Can speak without a teleprompter, and seems to speak from her beliefs rather than dogma. She definitely draws a crowd. I am curious why some of you who appear to be conservative say you would not want her to run for president or wouldn't vote for her.
He found people willing to talk? Has a crime been committed? Is Sarah a suspect? The democrats and the press have already had 100 dirt digging lawyers up there, and this guy has found people willing to talk? Not exactly a bestseller in the making even if Sarah runs for president.
The problem here is not that he has fought a long battle with drugs, but rather that he has elected not to fight it. Substances of any kind, including drugs, alchohol and cigarettes, food, sweets and more are temptations. Combine that with compulsive behavior, and there's a conflict that needs some fighting. There should be consequences to his kind of behavior. In this case, loosing driving previleges for life (not 6 months) after two offenses is appropriate, paying restitution to victims of the behavior is a must, and camp time with Sheriff Joe Arpaio or similar might be the cure. On the flip side of the coin, I see nothing wrong with giving incentives on medical insurance like we do on car insurance for safe driving--translate safe behavior. We already have smokers and non smoker's rates. How about drinker and non drinkers rates as well as body mass indexed rates.
This is all orchestrated from the White House in the hopes of inciting violence. This president should be impeached!
