Lines Writing Lines : i can haz iphone?

I doubt my parents even know what Tivo is. I have not lived in America for five years, so I\\\'ve never even seen one in person. The crazy thing is that my parents have actually regressed in their tech savvy over the years. When I was in middle school, my dad personally installed a pretty impressive computer network (for the day) in our home - even running the cables through the attic from room to room so it wouldn\\\'t ruin the decor. Now that networking has become a million times easier due to the proliferation of wifi, they can barely figure it out, and don\\\'t even bother to put a password on their router.

Lines Writing Lines : Free internet lesson!

I have no idea when Chrome will be released for Mac. What\\\'s available now is a developer version that is not meant to be used for regular browsing. I have used the Windows version a lot and it\\\'s great, but it won\\\'t displace my other browsers unless its feature set expands considerably, via plugins or official development. The main thing it has over Firefox is its speed. A lot of people appreciate its stripped down interface, but that\\\'s not so important to me - I prefer a browser that has all the features I want. I\\\'ll be interested to see how the eventual Chrome for Mac competes with Safari 4 for speed (they both render web pages the same way, using Webkit). Recently I\\\'ve switched from Firefox to Safari 3.21 with the amazing Safari Stand plugin, which successfully replicates a half dozen Firefox plugins.

Oh god. Time for a new online social network. Fortunately, my parents haven\\\'t figured out Twitter yet. I\\\'m just afraid of the day when they do, and I start getting <em>@natges - give us a call some time, love, your parents</em> in my feed.
