Well as a Cowboys fan I just have to say that I kept thinking Rush was right about McNabb after Saturday nights trouncing of the Eagles. There, if the Dimbulbs can inject race and a leftist agenda into sports than I can do the same on the right. Unlike the Republican apologists who give Reid a pass for his "racist" comments I won't be giving big media one on this type of "journalism". I call em like I see em and I'm sick of jabs at the right in everything from movies to msm sources and I say hold their feet to the fire.
Here in Texas you would be welcome with open arms. Well anywhere but Austin, but then they are weird. Anyway in Texas we know that Fox is the last best hope for journalism and you would find a pretty friendly crowd down here for the most part.
My advice to all members of the old MSM is to get your resume's ready. We don't need you , we don't read you, we don't trust you = we won't buy your fish wrap. So to quote an old saw which is very appropriate in this instance "go peddle your papers"!
When I was a kid the neighbors down the street had a little mutt named Chickaboom. They weren't kind to the little guy so one night around 10pm I and several other 10 yr old liberators helped Chickaboom make his great escape to a friends house. Chickaboom lived to the ripe old age of 15 (human years of course) and the rotten neighbors never found out. Seems to me poor old Bo needs just such an intervention. Since the social secretary at the White House is such a joke and people are crashing parties at the rate of 3 an event perhaps I need to make a little trip to DC and help with Bo's breakout. He's a cute little guy and I think my mutt Zippy will get along well with him. After all poor Bo needs to get away from Axelrod before he kicks the little guy in the tush. That and Zippy is a conservative too, he only bites liberals.
I want an "I'm Sparticus" bumper sticker who's with me?
The best of luck to Big Journalism and Breitbart et al. This is the true future of reporting and I can't wait to see what comes.
The members of this current administration have been so used to puffballs from the MSM that they absolutely panic when faced with genuine hardball questions (all two of them). It's hilarious to watch Pelosi giggling like an escaped mental patient when questioned about the closed door negotiations on the hc bill and exclaiming that "Obama made a lot of promises during his race for the presidency". Then to see Gibbs the fibber squirming like a kid caught stealing money from his mama's purse and Obama stuttering like Mel Tillis and frantically searching for his teleprompter when trying to look tough on the war on terror. I don't hold out much hope that the rest of the press room "journalists" will dare question their deity but it's fun to see Tapper and Garrett hold Gibbs feet to the fire. I've said it so many times before but will say it again SHAME ON THOSE IN THE PRESS ROOM WHO DON'T SPEAK UP!" I wonder if this was what pre-WW2 Germany was like? It's as if they dare not question the zero or they will be sent to the concentration camps. Stupid fools, they think they are saving their jobs by keeping to the leftist line. They do not seem to understand that their days are numbered anyway. The MSM and newspapers are in decline and will never recover. They cannot control the dissemination of the news any more and we've seen that the emperor has no clothes. The Honeymoon may not be over between Obama and the MSM but it certainly is between Obama and the American People and in America that's where the power truly resides.
Karma is coming for her and her ilk and she knows it. These so-called journalists know their days are numbered so they are reduced to "writing" for hack sites like Gawker...Gawker??? What do they have like 10 dope smoking 30 yr olds living in their mama's basement as subscribers? Don't sweat it and just put it up to experience. As others have so rightfully said, if you're making them resort to this type of tactic they must be running scared. Keep it up!
I can remember (barely) a time when you picked up a paper because it reported the news of the day. The papers of today have blurred the line between editorial and news and that is a dangerous thing to do. That isn't news it's propaganda. I was a child in the 60's but I remember the worship in which many newspersons like Walter Cronkite were held. Newspapers were the only news source and people tended to read and not question. Hindsight is always 20/20 but it is so easy to see where "Uncle Walt" led America astray on Vietnam, where the newspapers rather than reporting that war were championing it's demise and the 60's generation was marching in lock step. I place the blame for the current Democrat/Progressive/Liberal attitude squarely on the shoulders of that over-indulged, over-doped, over-the-top generation. Now these hippie children are running the country....into the ground. They control the media, the entertainment industry, politics, and education. The 60's were a failed experiment and this is a failed generation. I cannot wait until the Gen Xers who are more mature than any of the current bunch take power in a few years. As to newspapers and magazines they are dinosaurs and need to go the way of the fedora industry. I'm angered that the Obama admin is going to bail them out but I understand the underlying tactic of saving his biggest mouthpieces. There are no journalists, only Democrat mouthpieces and I look forward to the day I see these tools standing in the unemployment lines. The new media, in which Breitbart is emerging as one of it's brightest lights, is the future. Newspapers, magazines, and the MSM are so last century. Their time has gone and they need to adapt or learn the expression "you want fries with that?"
Did anyone else notice that the white guys chose pale ales and the black guys chose dark? Hmmmm
