Hillary should have stayed in the Senate and tried to assume Ted Kennedy's mantle as important power broker for the long haul.

Instead, she either thought she wouln't be too old to run in 2016 (?!?) and woul dburnish her resum ein the meantime, or was counting on Obama being a one-termer and gabled that having some skin in the game would help position her to pick up the pieces with an "I told you so" campaign.

Instead IMO she has screwed up royally with her gamble -- Obama has pretty sucessfully marginalized her, appointing special enoys all around her, then when she has had the spotlight, she's goofed up quite a bit ('reset' button etc).

She's had just enough exposure to demonstrate that she's not ''the world's smartest woman" like her supporters seemed to think.
