For many years (1970s) we found a spot across from the Galleria to watch the Grand Floral Parade with our small children, because the Galleria had accessible public restrooms, and it was easy to take the kids there. As a result of this issue (which includes the day-after abortion meds), I plan to attend Mass this weekend for the first time in several years, and return to the faith. I am certain I am not alone. I do not believe abortion should be outlawed, and I do not believe laws should force religious institutions to go against their beliefs. The government should not be involved in any of this. Obama has gone too far this time, and he has become the biggest threat to religious freedom in the history of the USA. I plan to be part of the fight. I do not have an issue with birth control, but I do have an issue with a government disrespecting religion and the 1st amendment. This is a bigger issue than many non-religious could ever imagine. Also, the hospital employee who decided such a report was necessary. Since when does a bite on the lip from your own dog become a reportable situation? It appears the hospital used very poor judgment, especially since this was the woman's own dog, and not a stray roaming the streets biting people. Please provide the name of the hospital.
