Hey does anyone know about the iPod Touch third gen situation. Like the 8 GB's can't be hacked and lately they've been doing things that BlackRa1n can't do the tethered jailbreak on. I sure hope the dev-team is working on this instead of chillaxing. (although the do deserve a vacation) Never Mind: I now see redsn0w 0.9, do these people ever take a break?

Well I guess its possible but if i'm not mistaken TurboSIM's still work. If I were you (alas I'm an iPod touch fan) I'd wait until Dev-Team or someone else releases a free soft-unlock.

It does and the Dev-Team aknowledges that, but it isn't their product, they can't help you, the only person who knows its way around it the best is geohot

its nice 2 see the Dev-Team and Geohot commenting on each other instead if the battle of ultrasn0w and purplesn0w eg. quote from GeoHot Warning 3g and 3gs unlockers, do not upgrade to 3.1.2 using iTunes if you want to keep your unlock. Baseband cannot be downgraded. Check out the dev team's offerings. Also blackra1n doesn't hacktivate. and you can already see Dev-Team's update, wow this is really nice, really nice

Did u go into DFU mode or Restore Mode? its really important that u go into Restore Mode(iTunes Logo or Steve Jobs) because DFU will remove the redsn0w patch

I know ALOT of people, and spaces! Besides back in the 1.0 days when jailbreaking was as easy as visiting a website and Apple hadn't made their no warrenty announcement, a lot of Genius's told me to and how to Jailbreak my iPod. Honostly, they really don't care, they have hearts 2. :)
