Yep, the direction is marked out... and sometimes - I'm saying sometimes - it's possible to find better and cheaper images on quality micro sites than in traditional RF. Just a note, you pay a premium for the exclusivity of the Vetta Collection, the Getty one could be licensed trough different channels. Or not? Cheers, r.

Hi Rahul, with an easy prophecy I wrote some days ago on twitter some #JAST (Just Another Stockphoto Thought): "Traditional Royalty-Free Stock Photography is going to disappear. #Microstock will be the standard" and " #microstock exclusive collections will be the RF higher end price". I want to add here another one: "Customers tired to find the same RF photos everywhere will return to RM" Let's see... Cheers, roberto

Nice one Rahul! I can confirm the strong presence of Fotolia on the German market (alexa rank 100 there): when Fotolia let you know the name of the clients of your sells, most of my pictures was sold to German buyers. At Veer Marketplace, with few data, the US percentage is about 30%. Cheers, r.

MPA, it's true that the review times are so long... but about the other issues you point out I have to disagree: my experience is good, rejections are similar to other big sites and I don't see any big difference in the royalty scheme. Cheers, roberto

I believe that market is US dominated... but consider that on the peak hour of this graph - about between 9 and 10 am NY time - it's about noon in Europe and the two components (buyers) work together. I check every day some Italian internet traffic charts and the two peaks in the day are typically at 12 (noon) and at 4 pm - so we can see a similar trend. Then there are all the Emerging Markets... I can't find anymore an interesting chart representing the number of people at work in the world vs time of the day, that would be the key! Cheers, roberto
