I've gotten back from the Tea Party in Nashville Tennessee at the Capital Building, crowd far exceed the plaza's ability to hold, well over 1500 people present and crowd grew larger. All the legislator's had to say as they entered the Capital building was thank you for comming, as they walked in. More to come....
Fortunately, for us they are not leaders'. They are only elected representatives, which we can vote out of office.
Their party affliattion doesn't matter, just the need to replace them with people whom believe in and will support and defend the U.S. Constitution, from all enimies foriegn and domestic! Vote!
Bob from America says.. Our form of Government was formed by our forefathers whom had a distained view of religion, punished by the King of England and the Catholic Church. All though they were religious men. This form of government, a represenative democracy (republic) is emplictly forbade to back any religion. They lived in a time when other governments were doing this and understood the failed issues which come from this doctrine. We are not a government of religions, we are a government bye the people, for the people and of the people. This is what is lost in the current representation we have elected, this is where we have to change government.
Bob from America says... This has to be the most thoughtfull post I've read in last month. Ture the two party system we some times enjoy is not functioning correctly these days. That is why we must act as a people to right it as our forefathers' envisioned. Care must be taken not to over react thou, as these changes we vive to make wil most certainly will cuase even more changes. Finding your roots, in this age of instant communications can be viscous, nasty and destructive. The federalist papers have at length have discussed many of the pitfalls we may encounter. Sound thinking is what is needed by all! Act Thoughtfully!
Bob from America says... cc1, I applaud you! But it must not be God in the Government of men, But God in the Hearts of men in Goverment that is most important. Strong moral character is what is needed, honesty, integrity, courage, empathy and most of all a good healthy portion HUMILITY! For they must remember they represent us, "We the People".
This statement is a combination of two truths. Immigration if legal will not interfer with the economy and can help it, illeagaly it does hurt the economy by denieing our own youth opportunities, leaving them with much time on their hands to commit crimes, it disenfranchies them from the America we knew as young people who joined the workforce in our youth. The next part is a social democrat failure called welfare which drains the economic engine of our society. Good comment. Great Observation, Get busy saving this country.

The word “democracy” does not appear once in the Constitution.
“Democracy is based upon the conviction that there are extraordinary possibilities in ordinary people.”
— Harry Emerson Fosdick
Democracy ... is a system of self-determination. It’s the right to make the wrong choice.”
— John Patrick
These are a few quote's for those who would think a litte deeper with regard to our standing. We must ACT as a unified group inorder to advance the issue's we are exspousing. Don't surrender, Don't give up. This action we undertake must continue to grow from this point forward. The undiscovered country is waiting for us to write it's story. We will win, we are the people who can direct the actions' of even larger numbers just as it was in the beginning of our great nation. Get busy people, we have a country to save.

Freedom of religion is a basic value expounded upon by the founding father's, the fact you do not express a faith in a greater being doe's not exclued you from the greater American society. You have as much a place in this group as any. There is no discrimination based on religion or no religion as far as the U.S. Constitution is concerned. So get out there and RAISE YOUR VOICE! Your choice, your way can only be heard if you use it!
You have identified a real problem area here. It's true, todays' schools don't teach the way we got taught in school. They have drifted way off base trying to send everyone to college instead of making sure they can make it just out of high school. Not everyone will get to College so let's give them better education in the basic skills area, and bring back some of the programs like a real science class, with chemistry, physics, electronics and do not forget the hand skills, welding, brazing, sheet metal shop, wood shop, automotive classes, music. Get students well rounded. Don't bury them in homework, to more work in the classroom, hands on. more real teachers instead of just college trained educators which is what part of the problem is right now.
RaiderMatt9, Glad to have your input, but we might be taking a step back by having each and every year a major vote for the fiscal budget bills, the House and Senate pass thousands of bills each year. Not all at one time, this is why we have a representative Democracy, otherwise known as a Republic. This is where we send elected officials to represent us their constituancy in Washington. I do say that they need to enforce the laws on the books we already. This would fix the immigration issue right now. English is already the National language so that is settled. Now how to fix the Great American Society that LBJ started, that is a bigger issue and should deserve a slightly larger discussion than I have space left here. Let me know what you think.
