South Park is a real funny show. They attempt to go about humor in so many different ways, I am starting to see that the main direction they go is political indirect humor. For instance the South Park writers try and push the limit on sensitive topics. They attempt to make their viewers laugh while still talking about an issue and teaching a lesson or morale or just having the viewers think wow thats interesting, yet funny. I saw the South Park episode that depicted the god Allah as something, I am not sure what He was. I can understand why muslims were mad at the shows writers. However, the show gets all religions not just Islam. They make fun of christianity and Jesus alot. Almost every episode. Christians for the most dont want to harm the writers if people feel they are offended then they simply stop watching it. I used to be very religious and after watching one South Park episode, I swore not to watch this show again. They skit that insulted me was degrading "my god" so I was like "F" this show its bull shit. I probably went about 10 months or so with out watching the show. After a while i realized the show has the right to make fun of what ever they want. Its up to me to either pout and be offended are laugh understand that other people dont think or have my beliefs. And thats ok. The thing thats wrong with the world today is that everyone feels like their beliefs and ideas and princples are above everyone else. Its the "I am right and you are wrong" concept. Thats what these Islams have that want to kill the writers of the show. They however, have it to an extremely expondential degree. Its sad because us humans thinking this way is the fundamental reason of why the world is in such as bad of a shape it is for so many people. We as humans dont accept what other peoples way, and if we do accept it then its done resistently. I think South Parks writers are good. I feel that they should be able to express making fun of any thing they want. I someone feels that they are getting offended then they can simply stop watching the show. America is FAR from perfect but the one thing that this country has going for it is that we have free speech. ( well not really but more than most other countries and its regulated very well). So I think those extremist need to attempt to understand everyone does not believe how/in what you believe in. And its ok for them to share there believes even its a direct opposite of what you believe.

This test was done wrong. I bet you if you could get a hold of any pshcologist with Phd's, or if the government was able to run this test it would be ran properly. This test is attempting to say that those kids who selected the white dolls over the darker dolls dont love themselves or/and feel a sense of anger or dislikement for themselves because they are African American . This may be the case, im not saying dark skinned paper would not like to be lighter what im saying is the test is erroneous and invalid. This is because having a white doll does not represent a white person it represents the color white, also having a dark doll does not represent a black person. The dolls do not have human properties or characteristics. The dolls cannot walk or talk, smile or sing. They are unable to distinguish themselves as people. They can only illustrate to one of our senses. Sight. This means those children did not choose any doll on the basis of its race but of the dolls color content. Humans innately will chose lighter things over darker ones. For example if you're in a good mood, the sun is shining, and your happy what colors are you most likely to wear?, light colors or dark colors?The answer is light colors. We are inately predisposed to like lighter colors over darker ones. Darker colors give us a negaitve or sad or angry feeling. Thats why most people wear dark colors when they are sad or angry. Thats why we would rather be in a room with light over a dark room. Unless we wanted to be alone or we are angry or depressed about something. Its so stupid to think children will perceive a light doll as a white person and a dark doll as a African American. The kids saw those dolls as colors not races, they than attempted to correlate the two. And because they are children they could not. If we really wanted to test and see what race children are more prone to liking you have to put two people infront of them and ask them which person do they like more/which person is bad. The children will be able to distinguish between the white skin person and dark skin person and identify they are people, like them and then they would make a judgement on which side they like better. When you use the people instead of the dolls the children are force to select the person they like not only on that persons skin tone but on there features each individual poses. This makes so much sense its unfortunate that pretty much no one else except for those who deeply understand how people think we think about it like this. This test was probably done by a bunch of college kids. This test is so wrong on so many levels.

You hit it on the head its like what Sam said earlier its ok to make fun of other races except for blacks truth is I really don’t know is it because society expects blacks to act in a negative way so its ok? A large reason to why the conversation always goes back to white and blacks is because we are asking white and blacks to comment about racism. If you put some middle eastern people, Hispanics, and Asians in a room and asked them to talk about racism I guarantee they will not end up talking about white vs black. They'll end up talking about racism they've encountered from their point of view. America is about 75 percent white, whites (lets be honest) don't really like blacks... So if you ask the average white person about racism their gonna talk about their personal experiences and their feelings towards blacks.Racism in America is not mild compared to Europe. Its just very discreet. In our society people care what others think about them so even if someone is racist and wants to say racist things they usually dont because they care about what other people think.Blacks and whites always have tension because.. I believe the average white person doesn't like black people. In other words whites don't want blacks around. Most blacks are able to sense this dislikement towards them and then they in return get angry or call whites racist. Even though most of the time white people aren't racist its just a systematic exclusion of blacks they all want. Also besides Native Americans, whites and blacks built America. There is so much negative history between the two racists. This history is founded by struggle, pain, suffering, inequality, and injustice. I feel like a lot of the time the reason we say its always about whites and blacks is also because we, as individuals, have personal stories or negative anecdotes about a time in our life, or a friends or a family member or someone we know that had a bad experience with the other race

Someone finally said it...The elephant in the room has finally been acknowledged.. Alot of people I know (blacks mostly) always brought this issue up every time the season came for this show to start. The media loves it. The public adores it; its my moms favorite show (shes black) I dont know why but its almost like we all know subconsciencly this show is some what racist, How can they have only white people on it. Its almost 100 percent white. We all see that, but we honestly just dont care. I think America has decencatized everyone to this stuff. I think we all see that its all white but we're ok with it. I also think alot of people feel more comfortable that it is all white people. I mean blacks probably feel this way too. For example if the produces of the show decided to have an all black cast, I think black people would feel somewhat weird watching it and may even get uninterested. And whites obviously would not care to watch it. So expecting the ratings to drop with an all white cast is very likely. Then the question is to be asked why. Do white people just look better than blacks so the cast on the show will have more attractive people when the cast is white...I dont think so. The cast is usually made up of the most attractive white people. If we put the mostt attractive blacks out there that are as attractive as the whites that are on the show, I still think the ratings would drop. America just loves blonde hair, blue eyes, tan skin people...I guess. When I say America I mean blacks and whites. Also there isnt even white looking hispanics on the show, and some hispanics look white. They only have straight bread pure white looking people.. I dont why its like this but it is and the show is very popular among all demographics.. So there reallyy isnt a reason for it to change. If it works, people are being entertained ABC is making money.. then everyone seems to be happy and both sides are satisfied. If we all truly cared about equality among the races as we say we do then people should complain to the produces to put a more brown and black AND YELLOW colored people on the show. Whites make up about 70 percent of America, if the show truly cared about equality and it wasnt all about making money, then they would have two or three hispanics four or five blacks and 1 or 2 Asians. I also believe that the show asks the person being pursued what type of people do they want to have pursing them and the white person who is the bacholar/bacholarett says they would prefere a predominatlly white suitors. They may be another reason to why the cast is usually all white people.

I really like this question. Shes simply asking do blacks have a higher rate of incarceration because they are black and the judicial system is racist against African Americans; or is it because whites overall, have more money then blacks and are able to afford better lawyers and that its simply whites money that enables them to stay out of jail. I feel like although this question is simple the answer is anything but simple. I feel like yes, obviously having money in America aids people in not going to jail and being found guilty for crimes. For example if you took a rich black male and a white poor male put them in the exact same situation. Same crime, both are the same age, both have no prior records..Odds are most of the time I dont know lets say 60 percent of the time the rich black male will be able to get off with a lighter punishment then the poor white male. However, if we change the scenario and make both males have the exact same economic situation. We would see that probably like 70 or 80 percent of time the black person has a harsher sentence. This is what Sam was talking about when he said comparing "apples to apples" two identical situations. What this shows is that when all thing are equal blacks will undoubtedly receive unfair and bias treatment. This is quite apparent. The question then lies...Why are blacks receiving unequal treatment from the judicial system then whites are getting..The only answer to that is racism. The courts like at two people and say well....because your black your going to jail and your counter part will not go to jail simply because he is white. This is how things work in America its not fair, in fact its far from right. Its wrong and its been that way for a very long time now. Now both of the previous examples do not truly express real life black and white financial status( I mean what the average is) The first example had the black male richer, on average blacks do not have a higher income then whites. The second example had both males making the same amount of money. Again, on average whites and blacks do not make an equal of money. Whites have a higher income. A true example is the scariest because it combines the weaknesses of both examples and blacks bare them....In real life blacks make less money on average then whites and because of racism blacks are more likely to be found guilty then are whites. So....Its as if blacks are unfortunately getting the perfect storm... ( being black in America and making less money then whites) to have much higher rates of incarceration then whites. Its the sad but very real truth.

What do you think about racism? their response will be less aggressive and less angry at whites they probably wont have any negative white experiences due to them not being around white people. They'll probably talk more about black on black crime and racism within the black community..ie light skin dark skin issues. They really wont have much to say about whites. Likewise if you ask a white person who is upper class and lives in the sub suburbs and never sees or encounters a black person in person and ask them..What do you think about racism? they wont really say too much about white vs black; they'll probably give some broad over view of all the races equally. Alot of prestigious black directors make their leading hero actor white as well. Think about it when we watch sports we often cheer for the guy we most identify with. Thats why white pro basketball players are beloved by white men. They feel like yup if he can do it, go pro, so can I. He looks just like me. Same thing for black athletes. For instance a big reason Jimmy Rollins is a fan favorite amongst blacks is first because he is very good but also because he's black. Also thats why alot of white fans like Chase Utley because hes very good as well but because hes white. People feel like seeing someone of their race out there on the field or on the big screen is somewhat like they themselves are out there too. Its not being racist. Its being human.. Isnt it??. Its wierd tho how im black and I see this completely different then a white guy. Its kind of like we're both arguing for the other team. It probably does have alot to do with me being born in a white world and just simple accepting the way it is. Kind of what Sam Richard said about being fish in water. Or something like that.

Well.. we dominate the game on the court but the guys in the head office: coaches, general managers, scouts, owners, team presidents. Those guys are 97 percent white in all four major sports. And they make much more money on average then the average pro player does. The bottom line is America is white.more to the movie. By large most of the revenue generated by Avator came from white viewers. James Cameron needs to make the viewers who are paying as comfortable and attentive to the movie as possible. And thats done by making the leading actor, the hero, the "messiah" white. So when little Eric sees the movie he feels like he can be the character, and little Erica feels a higher sense of attraction to the leading hero because he's white like her. What James Cameron did was not racist he only wants to make money
