As usual, the devil's in the details... Lets do a double take on those numbers. Particularly 2 stats I find very interesting.

* 63% of public thinks projects in plan were included for purely political reasons.
* 56% of the public opposes the stimulus
So....63% of the public thinks the plan was for PURELY POLITICAL REASONS.... Yet, only 56% of the public is against the stimulus. Can we surmise that (63-56=9%) 9% are on the take politically or in DA UNION? ie benefiting from the stimulus so they just plain "don't give a rat's ass" if it was only for political reasons. I'd be for making that 9% walk around with big red letter "A"s on their chests. And 'A' isn't for adulterer in this case....although it is the rest of us who are getting screwed.

PRAVDA is the first thing I thought of when I saw the first blurb from idiots proclaiming the Government should 'support' the newspapers. I travel to 3rd world countries where the leaders regularly publish their own newspapers (usually DOZENS) that are supportive of their agenda.

We call this propaganda Comrades...
