Everyone, Thank you for your comments. Keel them coming! @miles_kehoe ·- I am investigating internally some information for you. Hope to get specifics to you in the next 24-48 hours. @drice - Your input has been taken to the WPC planning team. Good news is that we do a few of these partner presenting to partner sessions already. And for this coming year we are doubling down on those partner led sessions and literally "doubling" the number of those sessions. We're also exploring how to begin these with more frequency online. If you don’t have Silverlight installed you won’t be able to see it on any machine.

See if they will allow this to be installed if it isn’t.

If your browser is showing a black box for the video player (shown below), there is nothing wrong with the video or the player, it is a browser setting issue with a straightforward fix. Please follow the steps below to view the video player. The below instructions are for IE9, but are similar for IE8.

· The first step is to make sure you have Microsoft Silverlight installed. You need the current version of Silverlight to watch any of the videos on Digital WPC. Visit http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-start... to verify if you have Silverlight. If not, you can download it here. Silverlight is a free plug-in which is compatible across many web browsers and allows for HD quality video using IIS Smooth Streaming.
· Open Internet Explorer, and choose the Tools or the thing that looks like a bicycle gear in the upper right corner
· Select “Internet Options”, then “Security” to get to the correct tab.
· Choose “Trusted Sites” from the menu, then click the “Sites” button, making sure to click “Trusted Sites” first.
· Enter http://*.microsoft.com in the space for entering URL’s. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.”
· Click “Add”, then “Close.”

This should correct the browser issue. You may need to close and restart Internet Explorer for the changes to take hold.
