Obviously you have never had circumstances happen to you! How blessed,(?) can you be! People rent for any number of reasons, to list a few, young person starting a life of their own, newly married couples wanting to look for the perfect home to start their life together, people that would prefer to not have the responsibility of upkeep on a home of their own due to a busy lifestyle, divorce, unfortunately, is probably an issue with some, lossing your job because the company is closing down or moving overseas. You must remember dreams to reality, that you should never judge another person until you have had the opportunity to walk in their shoes for a while!
Myra, congratulations on your new home, but most especially for being your son's best advocate!!! Enyoy your new home!
What a unique way to bring some new revenue to small towns! When my family and I travel, if we are not time restrained, we do look for small interesting towns to visit. We have found many wonderful resturants, antique stores and friendly people. I'm not sure if I would like to be pulled over by flashing lights, however haven't most of us been stopped at a DUI checkpoint. This was done for the good of the town and it's citizens. Would you rather have the local police department and mayor sitting in their office sending funny emails to each other and drinking coffee or out helping to promote their town? Are we not all googling Kalone, Iowa now?
