I did not need the government to intervene. We were able to find, after six months of no coverage, an insurance company willing to cover him. We then proceeded to pay the medical bills that had not been covered. Sure it took us quite a few years to pay off the bills, but I would rather do that again than have to endure a government-run health-care system. By the way, I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband is in construction. We are far from wealthy. My point is--the government needs to leave us alone!!
