Simply put, this is another version of us not enforcing the laws that are set in place for this kind of problem and bowing to the alter of the emotionally debilitated. By emotionally debilitated I simply mean they have lost their ability and nerve to do the right thing (kill non-uniformed enemy combatants on the spot) and do the thing that makes them 'feel better' about themselves. This same problem extends to our tax laws (Geitner is the only man that can do it even though he is a tax cheat), our borders (it's our fault the drug problems out of hand...... sorry Mrs. Clinton, you're wrong), and now with terrorists. And for the love of god, why do we endow these evil men with the same rights as an American citizen? Our men and women die for their god, family, and country. These self obsorbed narcissist die based on the belief that they get more worldly pleasures (virgins and such). Do not lecture me about the character of these evil men. It is evident throughout their life, all the way to their interpretation of Islam.

Follow Up to previous comment:

As Unions are structured today: a small shop that gets plagued by a union, they not only have to make sure benefits are administered correctly, pay is dealt fairly, and conditions are kept safe. They have to worry every 1-3 years that they are going to incur a huge expense increase due to 'benefits negotiation'. This is not what a union was ever intended for. Again, Unions in their current form are a direct assault on a capatlist society. They need to be regulated to the point they are not 'Third Party Administrators' for compensation and benefit negotiation. Again, if people want to improve their pay and benefits, they need to improve themselves and move onto companies offering these better benefits, or obtain these benefits themselves.

As it applies to unions: they are a tool that was developed for a good purpose, that was highly successful in driving America's growth forward, but ultimately taken over by money and power greed. Sounds much like our government to me. Example: Unions were originally developed to govern some very basic principles:
1. You were compensated fairly for the time you worked. IMPORTANT: this does not mean they negotiate your hourly wage. They make sure if you work 50 hours, you get paid for 50 hours correctly. 2. Your working conditions are safe. 3. If either of the above 2 items are violated, the body as a whole would retaliate against the offender (the company) and either cause it significant harm, or the company would resolve the issue quickly as to avoid the first consequence.
Nowhere does a union, in it's original and purest form include the negotiation of benefits, job descriptions, holidays, wage, or anything else. The company sets that, and if you want better, you go to a company that offers better or start your own. Hello capitalism!
