how much does a simple wedding cost? and how much for the grooms suit?

my fiance is from another country and wished to reside here after we get married. we suddently decided to do a small "garden" wedding here for my family and church wedding in his country afterwards .... i don't know which govt agency should we go first. and how much time we need to process all these doc so we can bring to his govt for filings too.... aaughhh !!
