should I use a custom restore with 3.0 or just update and the restore,, i don't really care much of the memory, but I want the easiest and SAFEST way to do it, I have an iPhone 3G 16gb FW 2.2 jailbroken and unlocked and a vista PC

It's wrong if I do the update, then use redsn0w,install the backup of music, contacts, apps, videos,et, etc then wait for ultrasn0w, then install it?

some guys are posting that I shouldn't use the backup
