There is nothing racist in the post Fabiola. If you re-read it, clearly, you can see that I am making fun of Holden, which is jokingly considered a very homogenous town. In fact, I do not think that race entered any where into this discussion -- Although, I did mention language, but then again, I lauded the restaurant for being genuine. As for going to "McDonal" or "Dunkin," you clearly didn't get it. Re-read that paragraph, perhaps, and maybe it will make sense a second time. Also, just wondering, are you going to continue to email me with demands to remove the post, or should we discuss that here? Further, when you demanded that I remove all of the comments as well, does that also include your comment? Considering that the review was _positive_ and is a ringing endorsement of your restaurant, and has probably resulted in increased customers, maybe you should.. yknow.. reconsider.

We'll have to try it out again Jackie, thanks for the feedback. When we went, the experience was really poor, although the food was pretty good when it did get there. The service was just really weak when we went.

Hmm. Could be wrong, but I don't think dynasty files are connected to any one profile. When you start the game, just make sure to load a secondary profile if you want to. Some people do this because of the Season Showdown mode penalizing them for running up the score or doing other things in dynasty mode that they want to do.

Hey Dave, thanks for the feedback. The way to fix it is to get Patch #2 and the Tuner Set #2. Lemme ask, do you have EA Online Pass enabled? It's the code that's on the back of the booklet that came with the game.... you enter it in on the online screen.

Hi Stuart, when you load up the game, MS or Sony will require you to download the Patch. But, then when the game loads, it should prompt you to download a Tuner Set (#2). If it doesn't, go to the online menu and it's in one of the settings areas in online. However, you have to have EA Online Pass enabled... which, if you bought the game, there should be a code on the back of the box that has it. Yeah, that error was fixed w/ the patch. It was caused by the Season Showdown mode not being "turned on." Should be fine now.

Yeah... Herman, it's weird but here's the logic behind that: Troy is in the Sun Belt Conference, which is a total stinker of a conference, so they easily win at least 8 games a year. THe effect is that they win the Sun Belt every year, get a pretty decent bowl game, have a host of undefeated seasons, and that rises them in the ranks with all of their rankings. Meanwhile, Alabama is in the SEC and has to contend with LSU, Florida, etc., so they really get beat up on over the years. The result is that Troy ends up as a 6-star, dominant powerhouse program while teams in competing conferences don't climb as fast. I would say that this is probably unrealistic, at least, how it works out, but we need to only look at teams like TCU, Boise State, Cincinatti, and other underdogs who have come out and become real national contenders each year. 17 years ago, in 1990, I believe Boise State was playing in the Big Sky conference, which at the time was a 1-AA conference... And now they're beating Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl and TCU in the Fiesta Bowl. So, while it's unlikely that Troy is going to become the dominant powerhouse in 17 years, the reason is because they are in a midmajor conference and they dominate their conference and easy schedule, building up to be a solid program. The game does try to balance it out by inviting teams into major conferences with a lot of success, which is the counter-weight to this, but it just can't happen often enough ... Plus there might be more complaints if, in 2027, Alabama is moved down to Conference USA while Tulsa moves to the SEC :-D

Hey Randy,
Make sure you have the latest patch and tuner set.� When you start up the game, it should prompt you to download a patch, and then prompt you again to download the latest EA tuners.� It's a glitch that happened after the second patch was released and if you don't DL the tuners after that.

Right on AndyMP & kaiz3r. Franchise mode has been so woefully implemented in the last five years, it's become tedious and boring to run a team, and I feel myself being pushed to NCAA this year only for something fresh with recruiting.. especially the ability to functionally run my team from my computer. Also, we have to ask, has there really been any innovation in the online sphere, where many people play? Not really. Sure, there was the half-implemented coop mode last year, and the poorly implemented Madden Ultimate Team, and the half implemented Online Franchise mode... but the core online game is in 1 vs 1 Online ranked games. I've never liked the 1 on 1 online games because they take too long and it's like a ... 1 on 1 chat room with an immature stranger for an HOUR. Something I'd like to see come back in the future is a mode that NCAA Football had back on the previous gen, for a few years, called OT Drill. This was an online 1 vs 1 game of just playing the NCAA overtime. The thing that made it great is that the games were SHORT, usually not more than 5 - 10 minutes, but like you know, some could also end in just 2 plays if you got lucky. The mode was a ton of fun because the format did not reward cheese play (the OT's actually played more realistically than a full game because.. well.. sometimes teams DO go for it on 4th down in college OT, or they HAVE to). When this mode went away with the jump to the current gen, playing an online game became an instant committment to an hour-long personal experience with some one... it's too much. It's time that the Madden team not only put real development time into Franchise -- online and off -- but also strategically and creatively think of other online modes... not just some cut and dry modes. In nearly every other EA Sports game, you have exciting things being done in the modes: NCAA gets more and more exciting every year; NBA Elite 11 is a total re-make of the game from the ground up; NHL '08 was completely new and now it's the best game that EASports makes; and FIFA saw an overhaul two years ago that has also made it a stellar game. Madden ... has gotten incremental updates. Sure, improvements no doubt, but incremental.

I don't think that 78 is a bad rating though and is probably pretty legitimate... Compared to say Denver, another 78, who started the season .. what, 6 - 0? WHile Denver certainly had a poor finish and Houston had a strong finish, they ended up with similar records and stats along the way. It ties them with Arizona (sans Warner) and San Fran, which isn't a bad spot to be in for Houston. I'm excited that the Patriots didn't get "Patriots-treatment," getting some astronomically high rating.
