When I saw this announced on the news, I about lost it. I am no legal powerhouse or anything, but this seemed simple to me. I just can't believe the Supreme Court didn't even hear the case. Simply appalling. An earlier post had it right. That sucking sound you hear is America spinning down the drain. The principles this country were founded on have been abandoned.

Let me start by saying this is a serious question. Not just venting.
Where is the conservative George Soros? Where is our "Mr. Moneybags". The far left fringe has pushed their agenda very effectively, but have done so with the financial backing of Soros. We need a George Soros. We need someone who believes in the founding principals and is willing to back that belief with MONEY. Thoughts? Opinions?

Then be proud of being an American. Be proud of what your ancestors accomplished when they formed this Republic. They didn't huddle up in the mid 1700's and decide to be white. They came together and decided to be free men and dare anyone to take that God given right away from them.

He spent the first 10-15 minutes telling everyone about how he is saving money in D.C. Then went on a rant about how we need healthcare reform. I asked him if he truly read the Stimulus bill before voting for it. He had the nerve to look me in the eye and tell me he did. Every news story I read said that not one person in D.C. read that bill before the vote. I reminded him that it was only released approximately 12 hours before the vote and was HUGE. He maintained his position that he honestly read the entire bill. When a person has the nerve to look me in the eye and outright lie to me - all respect is gone. Too bad. I went there respecting him, since he (in my mind before I met him) had the nerve to sit with his constituents and answer questions face to face. That respect got flushed when he answered one of my questions with an outright lie.

I may be going against the grain here, but why do we have to be proud of being white. Why be proud of being any skin color? A person is supposed to be proud of things they accomplish. When you complete something you fought hard for, when you work hard for a certain outcome - be proud. How can a person be proud of their skin color? They had no influence in the color of their skin. There are plenty of things to be proud of and fight for without causing a ruckus over skin color. Sorta like being proud that you are a blonde in my mind. Just my thoughts.

I went to a Q&A session with my congressman, Ron Kind that he held within his district here in Wisconsin. I wasn't too surprised to find it was more of a Question and Dumb Stare session. Many of the people who attended had the audacity to ask questions and expect answers. Instead, we received the standard, "Thank you for your input". One thing did take me a bit by surprise. I have never attended anything like this before, since I have never taken an active role in government. I thought it odd that everyone who attended was told they must fill out a form before being allowed to ask the congressman a question. The form asked for name, address, phone number, topic of question, and other information I can't recall. Can anyone tell me if this is standard procedure? Personally, I thought it was a little odd and intrusive to be honest.

RicktheJarhead is dead on. Dead on. Also, everyone needs to keep one other thing in mind. Do you honestly think this technology won't be exported? Managing a nuclear Iran would be a nightmare, but what about a nuclear terrorist? Flippin scary is what it would be.

Glenn, my hat is off to you sir. THAT was an interview. You are one of the few people in the mainstream media that has the guts to hold people accountable for their actions and decisions. If only others would do the same, we probably would.t be in the mess we currently are.
