I think you have it Aunt B - I think its North Carolina!

Okay, I am new to commenting on this but I took a look at the previous clues and to be honest, most did not make sense but there were a couple that I am starting to put together. First was the flower clue - one comment on the flower was that it was a Pinter flower which is found in Maryland and North Carolina. The second I looked at was the rice which there is a history of rice in North Carolina in its early history during. Then the rattlesnake - well, North Carolina has 37 snakes, 7 of which are venomous including three types of rattlesnake. Sooooo - my vote is North Carolina. Any help here from other clues would be great - can anyone place the other clues to North Carolina?
