It's not uncommon to sit by the pool and see fireworks from multiple directions from the 2nd-4th. Our dogs don't enjoy it as much as we do. lol

Historic Cocoa Village is a nice little shopping area,but not where you enjoy the beach. They do have a kids splash pad in the park on the river the little ones enjoy. You hop over to Cocoa Beach or Cape Canaveral for the beach.

Merritt Island is the city. The home is on the south end on the Indian River.

We drive to the store like most towns. Merritt Island is a barrier Island next to Cocoa Beach.

I live in Merritt Island and it is a beautiful place. No small towns on the Island, it is all just Merritt Island. People will say North or South depending on which side of 528 you live.
The space program did take a hit, but is still tugging along (my husband actually works for NASA and good things are in the works)
The people are laid back and friendly as can be. Whoever wins this home will be in for a treat!

Beach is less than 10 minutes away in Cocoa Beach. :)

Merritt Island is the City. I live there and we are not on the Ocean but surround by the Indian and Banana Rivers . Cocoa Beach is right next to us and on the Ocean.
I am guessing this home is on the Indian River.
