Good call, never really had a problem with a330s before this, but after this whole inconclusive investigation I am even more fond of Boeing widebodies
UW is one of the top schools in the world with a great architecture program and this is the building they come up with? I am all for saving or incorporating the tree into the design, but I really cant get over how boring and plain this new dorm looks.
I see that despite the fact that you tried to prove my comment was wrong, you failed to see at the end I clearly stated that the discovery IS exciting/important! "The definition of life has just expanded,"(NASA website) Yes very exciting, but your comment that humans have NEVER found anything like this is totally wrong. All other findings concerning the diversity of life and its structure pale in comparison to this according to your statement.
It IS a let down because NASA's announcement generated tons of speculation that the discovery was extraterrestrial. So discovering a new bacteria that can substitute an element for growth opens up new possibilities concerning life as we understand it, it doesn't hold ground in excitement against ANY type of extraterrestrial life discovery. Searching caves and deep sea environments often turn up new and complex ways life has adapted in harsh environments, and this just adds to those previous findings...SO to answer your question, NO, "alien" life forms found on this planet are not nearly as exciting because we have found many "alien" life forms before this. I am not saying this discovery isn't exciting/important!
while cool, definitely kind of a let down after all the hype....I was really hoping for an announcement concerning something NOT found on this planet.
Just imagine how thrilled they would be if the economy wasn't in the tank!
lets hope that once the 787 is complete Boeing can put more engineering resources towards a 737 replacement...Obviously learning from the mistakes made over the past years on the 787. GO BOEING
Same, I am listening to an episode from 01 with Rabbi Schmuley Boteach right now...I never listened to them when they were actually on but have listened to almost every episode from 96 on up. I really wish I would have listened to them when I was a teenager and they were actually on the air...

Dr. Drew and Adam Carolla on Loveline between 96-05 was out of this world good. Have paid a little attention to what both have been doing since then, but nothing will ever compete with what they had together on the radio...mahalo
