Well this season to my way of thinking has been a total loss.

Constants who the Judges admitted in there debates were better cooks/chefs sent home and other mediocre ones moving on.

You can tell MONEY this year was the main reason for some of the things that went on,
No trip to Las Vegas, No appearing on Rachel s show and letting "THREE" Oops make that "TWO" eliminated at one time.

Although they have done "Two" in the past.

While there is nothing wrong with the Mentor system, saving all on a team needs to be addressed next year.

This is supposed to be a competition and only the Best & Strongest should move on week to week.

Now has to this years crop of contestants goes the only one that shows me the most is Ippy if they were to shoot the show from his home location and he was allowed to do a strictly *Hawaiian Food Format* That show would become an instant hit I believe.

Next to him would be Lee if again they shot the show at the Winery.

The visuals from those shows would be more inspiring that the studio effect that all the other shows portray

I don't particularly like this years format, its to much like Worst Cooks or some such Co-Hosted by Burrell and Flay.

The mentor idea isn't bad but teams again take away from what this should be *But Never Is* a competition amongst individuals.

Tushman and Foggelson always use the excuse that *Well you have to get along with others on the Network, while that may be true how many actually do that??

The only time or the main time is around the Holidays and there are plenty of Hosts that are *Never on or in any of those shows*.

This Network needs bad another *Main Chef* for a night time show like Emeril was, along with a Chinese Chef show.

Melissa very good advice for anyone wanting to advance in the business world today.

You mentioned that you are now living in San Diego, I thought that you had moved to Washington when you left Texas??

With a lot of Food Network people living on the west coast they should have a production center there to cut back on the travel, with having the show being done there now that to me makes more sense than having to criss cross the country all the time, besides the climate is better there.

I think we have hashed and rehashed this to death now **ADMINISTRATOR TIME TO CLOSE THIS DAYS BLOG DOWN.

HOWEVER ONE LAST STATEMENT

There's been a lot of references to the Cooking Channel, lets remember that channel is not a basic one but a premium one, unless you subscribe to some of the premium channels you don't get it.

All for now over and out..

If you are referring to the so called FAN VOTE PAGE all that is, is a popularity vote by us, just to give us something to do nothing more nothing less.

That fan page voting is useless as far as us having a say in who wins or loses.

REMEMBER WE ARE WATCHING THIS 6-7 MONTHS AFTER EVERYONE HAS ALREADY GONE HOME AND PICKED UP/CONTINUED ON WITH THERE LIVES.

All of Jeff's six shows are done and in the can just waiting to be aired starting this coming Sunday.

No I don't know exactly how FN handles cancellations the only suggestion I have is, go to FN'S home page and check under shows to see if Big Daddy's House is still listed.

Second is go to there contact page and ask there.

Bob, You have to remember what we see isn't necessarily the order in which things are done.

The last Issue of TV guide had an article on FN'S with an Interview from Tuschman talking about Vic, and the fact that they shoot (3) pilots because they don't know at that time what the final outcome will be, (I'm paraphrasing here as I don't have the Guide in front of me).

I actually thought that Vic was one of the final two from his remarks.
