I love how incredibly, undeniably and totally unabashedly biased this article is. The author also needs to spend more time researching his facts. Or just actually using facts where they're appropriate.

I especially love "iPod touch pretty much destroys that with 40 hours of music playback and 7 hours of video (right)." completely leaving out the fact that it actually lasts about 3-4 hours *absolute max* on a really weak-graphics game like Fruit Ninja.

Love how you neglected to point out the Vita absolutely *destroys* the iPod Touch's specs, graphics and performance-realted capabilities and is intrinsically better suited to portable gaming due to physical controls, two joysticks and all the benefits of the touchscreen *and* a touch-sensitive panel on the back.

Thanks to this article, I can now add another blog to the list of ones to avoid due to unabashed fanboyishness, lack of fact-checking and bias.

Offer two emulators, SNES and N64, at £7.99 each and then sell individual roms at £1.79 each within the app. Tey can make sure th games are made perfectly for iOS without compromising sales of future nintendo games or the 3DS.

I agree, but I think the most important part of a tablet IS the software. Consumers don't care about how many Ghz it has, how many Gbs it has etc. - if it works well, that's what they want, and Android does not and iOS does.

Trying to compete using an inferior product at the same price won't work though. Plus, obody knows what a Playbook is - everyone knows what an iPad is!

Exactly! I think that all other iPad and iPhone competitors actually lack a strategy... they realise that they're superior devices, and yet they push out these *obviously* inferior products and expect everyone to buy it! If you want to beat Apple, you have to build BETTER products - not cheaper, people will pay the extra for the quality.

Why buy it when you could buy an iPad? I don't get it, why would someone choose it over an iPad? It doesn't even have a mail or calendar app.

Yes, but developers put so little effort into them that it's hard to find good ones.

DLC should never be available within the first month of a game's release. if it is, then they could have put it in the game and they're obviously just being greedy bastards. Equally, if it's something shit like horse armor, either don't make it or make it free. I'm willing, with say these Black Ops map packs, to shell out £10 for them. It's well past the release date of the game, and they're actually very high quality. 4 whole new maps, features/interactivity and a new zombie map each time. But you get some really shocking stuff too.

Great article.

Should be interesting to see what Nintendo produce. They're always the best at innovation. Gotta have the HD specs like the Xbox/PS3 regardless but I'm really interested to see what we'll get with the "Wii 2".

The Windows version is still far superior. Nicer design, more intuitive design, more features, more sharing features... Unless you care to explain what you mean by 'tightly integrated'?
