Your comments make you seem bipolar. Glad I got out of there when I did.

It's very inconvenient, especially in a place where so few places are easily accessed through walking. Honestly, some days the hassle wins out. If I don't want to lug my stuff to the library or walk to the store I just sit around and watch tv. I hate when that happens so I try not to let those days happen often. But you are right - the determination and desire to get somewhere is what really makes it happen, not whether or not you have a car.

I don't think I failed either, nor is anyone who decides to take that same path. But when I first was living at home? Yeah, it felt like a failure.

@Nate
Thanks! I totally agree - the "system" is crazy and doesn't allow for any of the trouble people have deciding what they want to do and who they want to be at that time.

Thanks! Yeah, you always come every couple of days to comment. It's just a random goal, something to shoot for. :) It makes me write better, or at least try to, when I know a lot of people are reading.

Maple sugar candy and maple syrup are definitely two things I'm buying this weekend to take home to people. They will love it!

I'm most excited about having my own cute little puppy, to be honest. That should take away some of the loneliness factor. Being alone or it being too quiet is one reason why I never have lived alone. But I feel like I should try it. I think it will be a good thing. :)

Thanks Jon! It's in Ludlow Vermont (I edited the caption to say it, hehe). It was a few days ago... when it's not overcast here it is GORGEOUS!

Hehe, the images are rotating constantly, but I'm going to guess you liked the dirndl one. It's fun.

The lifestyle I want is pretty much the one I have now, just better financed. I love the fact that I travel often and have the flexibility to take unusual opportunities. I would like to continue traveling, perhaps move abroad even, stay flexible in what I do for work and fun and work for myself as a freelance writer and blogger. Yep, that's basically the lifestyle I want. The big things at least. :)
