But I believe the center right moved away from me, leaving me in the left. I didn't leave the GOP, the GOP left me. * That being said, I have probably moved sharper left on social issues - which is what happens when I meet people instead of categorizing them as types. * CNN didn't pay me for this. This is the stuff I write because I need to get it out of my head. * My biggest bone of contention is hypocrisy. Anti-spending protests in 2009 ring hollow since they didn't exist in 2007. I do not believe this "movement." And I resent the concept that Americans are being "Taxed without representation" just because the other side won. The very fact that I am here, I am rational, I try to have a sense of humor about things... these are the things that make me passionate without being a zealot. You look for nuggets in my melon, I'm trying to convince you that it's not okay that Joe the Plumber hate gays.
