I agree 100%. I am a teacher at a high school and I have noticed that the school system has taken government and civics out of the picture all together. It is no longer a requirement and is not a part of the Standards Based Assessment(SBA). It is very frustrating to be a conservative in a liberal environment,much less a school system. I am an English teacher but I make a point of teaching history while I am teaching students how to read and write.

I'm just so frustrated by this whole mess! Honestly, what can we do to save our country from the course it's on? Do we just sit back and pray that we and our families survive?
