Margie Warrell: Find Your Courage : How do you define success?

So true. It's also my experience that to feel that level of deep contentment we have to be working toward things that infuse our days with meaning and purpose. We cannot do that sitting safely inside our comfort zone. So while whether or not we make millions or achieve fame or status is not important. What is vital is that we are working hard and worth doing, and living our lives to their full. That takes courage.

Sylvia
Thanks so much for your comment. When it comes to cylcling those emotions know that you are in good company! We human beings are innately emotional creature and regardless of how much \"work\" we've done on ourselves, we can all, at times, fall victim to negative emotions that can be exhausting and limiting. Cut yourself some slack. The main thing is cultivating mindfulness that enables you to respond to them more constructively... so that you can say a big YES to those things that do inspire you, and a confident and clear NO to those which don't.
Here's to your next adventure!! margie :)

Hi Betsy, No i'm sure you are "not off your rocker". And if you are, well at least I hope that you enjoy being so! :) When people react to you expressing yourself in your own unique way, it generally says a lot more about them (and their fear of what people might think of them) than it does about you! Stay you!

Margie Warrell: Find Your Courage : Forgiveness: Is holding on to anger holding you back?

Great question Cam. The truth is that it really depends on how she thinks they will respond. Most definitely it has to begin with her forgiving them herself. The simle act of doing that will shift how she communicates with them moving forward. They may not respond well to her saying she 'forgives' them because they may feel they have done nothing that needs forgiveness and think she is being arrogant in saying it. But by giving up making the wrong for their behavior, andj ust accepting that they are where they are, it will at least take a weight off her and create more space for reconciling their relationship. Naturally, that can take time. Hope that was helpful for you Cam.
